Upcoming Programs & Group Supports at The Commons
At The Commons by Care & Connect, we’re excited to continue growing our range of structured programs, group based supports and social opportunities focused on building confidence, independence, practical life skills and meaningful community connection.
Our current timetable includes 1:1 supports and other supports currently operating from The Commons along with a range of upcoming group based supports, Social Club evenings and structured programs planned to commence based on participant interest and registrations.
We offer a range of structured programs that run in 8 week blocks throughout the year. Two programs will run at a time with additional programs rotating across different terms based on participant interest and availability. Programs are designed to be engaging, supportive and inclusive with a strong focus on building everyday independence, confidence, social connection and community participation in a welcoming environment. Please register your interest in all programs preferred as this will help with planning.
Our group based supports are designed similarly to a day activity center program. Participants attend in a supportive group setting where they can engage in meaningful activities, build friendships, develop everyday life skills and increase confidence within the community while being supported by our team.
Group support days may include activities such as cooking, community outings, arts and craft, games, social activities, life skill development, routine building, wellbeing activities and working towards individual NDIS goals in a relaxed and inclusive environment.
All group based supports and structured programs will only proceed where there is enough interest registered. Registering your interest is important as it allows our team to plan suitable days, times, staffing, supports and group sizes to ensure programs are meaningful, accessible and tailored to participant needs.
Registrations of interest are now open for upcoming programs and group sessions. To register your interest, please complete the enquiry form through our website under "Our Services" (for group based support) or "Programs" for our structured programs. Alternatively, contact our team directly to discuss available supports and program options.
